From investigating the causes of disease, through to evaluating novel ways of delivering care to the most vulnerable people in society, our thriving community conducts adventurous world-leading research.
Placements
We work with a select group of expert-led placement partners, both in the South West and across the UK, to provide students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wide range of clinical settings.
All undergraduate students will spend extended placements of up to one year, in either in Torbay, Taunton or Plymouth, and rotate around these sites. Travel to GP practices from these main hospital sites will also be required.
