From semester dates to assessment periods, here are the important dates to note in your diary during the University of Plymouth’s academic year.
The academic year dates below are based on a September start. Some programmes will have different dates, including those with a January start that follow a calendar year model. Please refer to the dates provided by your Faculty or admissions team. 
Those programmes with different dates from those published below may have different fee payment deadlines. 
Research degree programmes' start dates are normally 1 October, 1 January and 1 April of each year.

Please note that some programmes may have different dates for the publication of results and therefore other summer appeal or assessment deadlines. Your Faculty will let you know if your programme has different dates and you can also find further information on the student portal result publication dates and appeal deadlines page (login required).
