As degree apprentices studying at the University of Plymouth, you are joining a vibrant and dedicated professional community. The Careers Service understands that while you study for a recognised qualification you are not only enhancing your career skills but also continuing to earn a salary, thus balancing commitments and work/life balance.

Access LinkedIn Learning for further development
As a University of Plymouth student you have access to LinkedIn Learning , a continually growing and evolving library of training videos and tutorials covering a wide range of software, technologies and business topics. Take advantage of free 24/7 access to the entire library of training. Please note you will need to login using your university email address and password and having a LinkedIn account is also helpful, particularly if you wish to show you have completed these courses.

Continued Professional Development
Continued Professional Development (CPD) is a self-directed and structured process of reflective learning which can help you manage your own progression and set career development goals in the short, medium and long-term. CPD can include formal or informal training, work shadowing and mentoring, as well as self-directed learning.
Most professional bodies will offer CPD opportunities to its members so if you don’t already belong to one, it might be worth looking into this. Other useful websites include:
