Understanding, valuing and linking community assets to address health disparities.
Starting in March 2023, this nine-month project will create a research-in-practice consortium capable of exploring how community assets can be valued, mapped and linked as important parts of our integrated care system, to address and reduce health disparities.
Our consortium will bring together, as equal participants, people providing community assets, health and social care providers, people with lived experience, commissioners, academics and public health experts.
This will prepare the ground for future research to understand how community assets influence health disparities, how to strengthen the links between community assets and how to integrate community assets within our integrated care system.
