This exhibition celebrates green making, materials and objects. It features creators and their processes, highlights the connections between green practices and sustainability and asks questions about our individual relationships with objects and storytelling.
Curated by Polly Macpherson, Associate Professor of Design Practice in the School Art, Design and Architecture and the Creative Industries Supervisor in the Sustainable Earth Institute's Low Carbon Devon project at the University of Plymouth, UK, the showcase builds on The Green Maker Initiative, a collaboration between MAKE Southwest and Low Carbon Devon. This creative industry project was designed to explore and support individuals and groups of makers who were committed to reducing their environmental impact.
Our programme of associated events is featured below, including collaborations with The Flax project CIC and Studio Arvor.
