In this talk, Joanna provides some background to the international movement of Philosophy with Children. She shares her experience of philosophising with children, young people and educators in different contexts and the kind of literature that provides rich provocations for thinking together, regardless of age.
Joanna is Associate Professor in Education at the University of Plymouth. Her research interests are in philosophy, childhood and intergenerational education. She has published many articles and books including Children as Philosophers, which has been translated into Greek, Spanish, Farsi and Korean, and Picturebooks Pedagogy and Philosophy, which has recently been translated into Arabic.
