Pastoral and Spiritual Support invite you to a thought-provoking panel discussion that delves deep into one of society's most sensitive and compelling topics: Assisted Dying. We will explore assisted dying through diverse world views and hear personal insights from representatives of Humanist, Muslim and Quaker beliefs.
This is more than just a conversation; it's an opportunity to listen, reflect and broaden your understanding of how different faiths grapple with this profound moral question.
This event aims to inspire compassion, challenge assumptions and advocate for informed conversations about end-of-life choices.
Panel members: Dr Martin Lavelle , Faculty of Science and Engineering – Humanist • Professor David Salter , Faculty of Health – Quaker • Dr Feisal Subhan, Associate Professor of Physiology , Faculty of Health – Muslim.
This panel discussion will be held in upstairs in room 101 of the Pastoral and Spiritual Support Service and everyone is welcome.
