BBSRC South West Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership (SWBio)

Over 34 fully-funded PhD studentships available as part of the BBSRC-funded South West Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership (SWBio DTP)

The SWBio DTP encompasses the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter, alongside Rothamsted Research. This partnership also includes our associate partners: Marine Biological Association (MBA), University of Plymouth, SETsquared Bristol, Swansea University, UCB Pharma and University of the West of England (UWE). Together, these institutions present a distinctive cadre of bioscience research staff and students, with established international, national and regional networks, and widely recognised research excellence.
The aim of the SWBio DTP is to produce highly motivated and excellently trained postgraduates within BBSRC focused research areas. These are growth areas of the biosciences and for which there will be considerable future demand.
Further information about the SWBio DTP PhD programme can be found on the SWBio DTP website.
