Identifies, in collaboration with your employer and University of Plymouth module lead, work based objectives and develops a learning contract specific to these objectives. You will need to identify what learning is needed and identify ways to evidence and evaluate development.
Learning outcomes
- Identify and manage personal and professional learning needs.
- Synthesise the evidence of learning and development in relation to work based objectives.
- Demonstrate evidence based knowledge and deep understanding of field of practice, project context and mechanisms required to instigate change/develop practice or maintain good practice.
Assessment
The assessment for this module is an essay.

Entry requirements
To be considered for a place on these modules you must:
- be a registered health and social care professional or health and social care worker in possession of previous study at level 5 (Diploma of Higher Education) or a foundation degree to study the module at degree level, or
- be a registered health and social care professional or health and social care worker ideally in possession of previous study at degree level to study the module at masters level.
You will be considered and advised individually (where required) by the programme team and Professional Development Unit. Please contact the PDU or programme lead if you have any queries regarding your situation.
