Dr Luciana Dalla ValleLecturer in Statistics School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics (Faculty of Science & Engineering) Big Data

Key features

This 20 credit masters-level module focuses on the application of evidence-based practice to professional practice, allowing you to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to utilise the best evidence and avoid information overload.

This will ensure your practice is underpinned by robust quality evidence while addressing service users’ concerns, expectations and values.

You will develop skills in both the theory and application of evidence-based practice to enable you to take a leadership role in evidence-based practice in your own area of practice.

As part of the module you will have the opportunity to identify a question relevant to your area of practice, review and critique the literature in this area, and plan and evaluate any necessary change to professional practice.
