About Sarah

Current Role Lecturer in Adult Nursing, Deputy programme lead for Return to Practice programme.

Sarah joined Plymouth university in Jan 2018 in a part time role as a clinical demonstrator. She has been a lecturer in adult nursing since December 2019

As Lecturer in Adult Nursing Sarah supports teaching and learning across a portfolio of modules at levels 4, 5,6 and 7 for undergraduate nurses . Sarah also teaches on the return to practice programme. Sarah is a registered nurse Adult and a specialist community public health nurse.

Sarah has worked in numerous settings both in the community and in acute hospitals. Her most recent clinical roles include tuberculosis nurse specialist, and school nurse. Sarah also has worked as a medical ward sister on wards specialising in respiratory and general medicine. Sarah has worked within research both recruiting patients to a clinical trial and working as an assistant research manager responsible for governance approvals for NHS patients at both NHS and Non NHS sites.
