About Saeid

Team Member, Clean Energy Strand, Entrepreneurial Futures Project;

Working on simulating, testing, and optimising marine operations throughout the lifecycle of floating offshore wind (FLOW) installations; 

Ph.D. in Offshore Engineering from Newcastle University focused on Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Interaction between Sea Waves and Floating Offshore Platforms;

M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Naval Architecture;

Several years of working experience as a University Lecturer and International Marine Surveyor with the following expertise:

   - Simulation of Floating Offshore Wind Turbines

   - Marine Hydrodynamics and Mooring Analysis

   - Decarbonization & Clean Maritime

   - Marine Surveying and Formal Safety Assessment

   - IMO Conventions and Maritime Standards
