I grew up in West Germany and have been a resident in the UK for over 25 years. I have a background in the arts prior to starting my counselling journey. After my first training as a counsellor I became an associate counsellor at the university counselling service in 2012, followed by my first employment as a staff counsellor in 2014. Since then I have been one of the core counsellors for students at Student Wellbeing Services. I have been involved in setting up and running Men’s Groups for students in the past, as well as help develop our anxiety talk for students. Prior to the pandemic, I have helped the service transition to a One-At-A-Time model. During the Covid pandemic, I was part of the team that transitioned our service online. More recently, I have started to provide group supervision for our associate counsellors.
