About Nic

I undertook my Paramedic training in the West Midlands at another HEI on a foundation degree programme. Once qualified I returned home to Cornwall where I worked frontline with the local ambulance service and undertook my BSc in Urgent and Emergency Care at Plymouth University.

After several years I went part-time splitting my time frontline and working within the local Minor Injury Unit’s and teaching for the RNLI on their casualty care programme. In 2020 I moved to Kernow Health who deliver the Out of Hours GP service and Cornwall’s integrated urgent care service. While being employed in the specialist and advanced Paramedic roles I have undertaken my further studies in advancing practice.
