About Jennifer
Associate Professor Radiography
Jenny is an HCPC-registered diagnostic radiographer with senior management experience across the full range of imaging modalities, and across a range of imaging organisations. Previously as a CQC registered manager, Jenny has chaired, and been part of, committees relating to all aspects of clinical governance.
Jenny has been the Southwest Council member for the Society of Radiographers, been part of the College of Radiographers Trustees Committee, and chaired a number of focus groups for the Society of Radiographers. Jenny is active in workforce development for the Society of Radiographers, which includes the non-registered workforce and progression routes developed.
As a forensic radiographer, Jenny is Vice Chair for the UK branch of the IAFR.
From an academic perspective, Jenny has led on the successful approval of the undergraduate diagnostic radiography provision at the University of Plymouth, and for postgraduate study at another university. Jenny is passionate about widening participation in diagnostic radiography and interprofessional learning, and there is now a successful foundation programme for diagnostic radiography at the University of Plymouth, with apprenticeships about to start.
Jenny has previously been involved in radiography education for Singapore and is currently an active member of the American education committee for imaging.
