Biography / Experience:

I have worked as Project Manager for the not-for-profit social enterprise Aber Food Surplus, based in Aberystwyth, West Wales, on a EAFRD (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) and Welsh Government funded project, after co-founding the organisation and I am currently one of the directors.

I have been involved in grassroots environmental and community-led change projects and have established and led local community groups in Aberystwyth for Surfers Against Sewage (Plastic Free Aberystwyth) and Friends of the Earth whilst also project coordinating the Bee Friendly Aberystwyth initiative.

My interests lie in facilitating proactive change across and between sectors and transitioning towards a collective responsibility and collaborative action for a flourishing and low carbon future putting people and planet first.

In addition, I am interested in regenerative agriculture and thriving food systems, outdoor and nature-based education which empowers real-World learning and transformational leadership and development. I have recently been working for TYF Adventure, the founding B Corp in Wales, who specialise in coastal outdoor adventure and wild play combined with environmental education and purposeful impact.

My MSc thesis explored the relationship between green health, nature connection, kindness, wellbeing and pro-environmental behaviour and I am interested in the role of nature and ocean connection in human and planetary wellbeing, having recently established the project Ocean Flow.
