Student Engagement Officer September 2019 - Current

Coordinating and Managing a series of Professional Mentoring Programmes within the Career Service. This consists of:

Professional Mentoring Programme Strand 1 & 2

Skills development workshops and Mentoring Conversation events

Babcock Professional Mentoring

Tamar Engineering Project (TEP) Working with with Alumni Team and Faculty of Engineering to support students and mentors on this project 

Opportunity Plymouth - Original project instigated via the Institute of Education and Careers Service to a local school in 2022, 2023 looks to expand this to minimum of 6 schools. Enabling students in HE to become mentors to pupils in year 10 from local schools, talking about FE, HE and career goals whilst improving professional and Personal skills

Peer2Peer Institute of Education -working with 1st year students to mentor foundation year students , started in 2022

Other roles include:

Line management of staff , founder and chair of Community Of Practice mentoring group, Mentor on University Womens Programme and YMCA Ys woman scheme, support to Student Ambassador Team

Work Related Learning Officer October 2018 - September 2019-

Working on Santander Internship Programme, Plymouth Award, Employer Engagement events, Sprint, developing Micro-Internship Programmes and supporting employer engagement
