Mrs Annabelle Mawhinney

Lecturer in Optometry

Annabelle is a qualified optometrist who graduated from Cardiff University in 2018 with a first class honours degree. Annabelle has worked in both multiple and independent high street practices and continues to do so alongside her work at the University of Plymouth. Annabelle has been involved in the supervision of pre-registration optometrists and is currently an OSCE examiner for the College of Optometrists. Alongside her teaching, Annabelle is currently undertaking a part-time PhD with a focus on myopia management and the use of MR imaging in ocular modelling.
