The Plymouth Health Innovation Alliance provides a gateway to health innovation in the City and the wider South West region, offering rapid triaging and the cross-agency co-ordination of health innovation activity.
The Alliance facilitates collaborations to maximise research, innovation and funding opportunities in the health-medical sector. This service in turn then aids the development of products, technologies, services and approaches of national and international importance.
The Alliance works tirelessly to put health innovation in Plymouth on the regional, national and international map. By working with the Alliance, you will be part of a city-wide initiative working with the leading organisations in the city to drive forward the health innovation agenda. The Plymouth Health Innovation Alliance provides a dedicated and proactive voice to advocate for health innovation activity in Plymouth.
Facilitating collaborations to maximise research, innovation and funding opportunities for the health-medical sector, the Alliance plays an integral role at a strategic city level to co-ordinate and participate in Plymouth’s health and care plan. Access our business network and gain access to the wider health innovation network, city initiatives and future planning in health innovation. Participants will also be able to access the wider health innovation supply chain including key engineering, manufacturing and digital sectors.
Working collectively, the Alliance enables cross-sector and industry working to access funding and commercial opportunities related to clinical trials and treatments for healthy ageing and digital health technology.
We offer considerable expertise in health innovation as well as practical support for facilities and services including office space, clinical space and business start-up/relocation support to the Health Technology Innovation Campus.
