Digital health is revolutionising healthcare by shifting from a traditional face-to-face model to real-time personalised monitoring and care. 
Digital devices, including software (such as mobile health apps, AI software frameworks) and hardware (like sensors and wearable devices), can facilitate disease prevention, early diagnosis and chronic condition management outside traditional healthcare settings. 
The Centre for Health Technology is actively engaged in developing cutting-edge applications, AI tools, and wearable devices aimed at predicting the risk of stroke, facilitating early intervention for heart failure, and detecting Alzheimer’s disease at its earliest stages, to name a few. We collaborate closely with both clinical and non-clinical partners, bringing together expertise from both research institutes and industry at national and international levels.
