An academic from Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry has been recognised for his teaching excellence by the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE). Dr Kamran Ali, Clinical Associate Professor and Consultant in Oral Surgery, was honoured with Excellence in Dental Education: Mature Educator Award by the ADEE at its national conference in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The award recognises the highest standards of educational expertise among experienced dental educators; providing an independent evaluation and recognition of their sustained high quality educational contribution, and also marking their promotion of the exchange of intellectual resources in dental education through local, national and international activities.
Dr Ali said:
“I am delighted to receive this prestigious award, as it is a testament to the highest standards of education at Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.”
