Congratulations to Samantha Southern and Weng Vooi, two history graduates in the class of 2019 who have received places on the JET (Japan Education and Teaching UK) programme in the coming year. In recent years a large number of Plymouth History students have spent a year in Japan as part of the JET programme.
As undergraduate history students Sam and Weng have been learning Japanese and organised a number of Japanese cultural events in the University of Plymouth such as the Kanzeon film screening in February 2019.
