A level To include B at A level Mathematics and grade B in a second relevant subject. Relevant subjects include Chemistry, Computing, Design & Technology, Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Further Maths, Pure Maths, Use of Maths and Statistics. International Baccalaureate 30 to 34 points overall to include 5 in Higher Level Mathematics and 5 in a second relevant Higher Level subject. English and Mathematics must be included. BTEC RQF National Extended Diploma/QCF Extended Diploma DMM – DDM in a relevant Science, Engineering, or Technology subject, to include a Distinction in relevant Mathematics units. If you hold a BTEC qualification it is vital that you provide our Admissions team with details of the exact modules you have studied as part of the BTEC. Without this information we may be unable to process your application quickly and you could experience significant delays in the progress of your application to study with us. Please explicitly state the full list of modules within your qualification at the time of application. Irish Leaving Certificate 120 to 136 UCAS tariff points, including H3 in Maths and H3 in a second relevant science subject. GCSE equivalent English and Maths accepted within. SQA Advanced Higher 120 to 136 UCAS tariff points, including grade B in Advanced Higher Maths and grade B in a second relevant Advanced Higher subject. GCSE equivalent English and Maths accepted within.

A typical offer is 112-128 points to include grade C in Maths and grade C in a second relevant subject in Science or Technology.
GCSE English and Maths grade C / 4 or above or equivalent.
BTEC National Extended Diploma DMM-DDM in a relevant Science or Engineering subject. Must include Maths units. Candidates may be interviewed before an offer is made.
Access Pass Access to HE Diploma with 33 level 3 credits with at least 12 Level 3 credits at distinction in Mathematics and 12 credits at Merit in another Science, Engineering or Technology subject. Plus, GCSEs: English and Maths at a Grade C/4.
International Baccalaureate 28-30 points overall to include 5 at Higher Level Maths and 4 at Higher Level Sci/Tech subject.
Welsh Baccalaureate 120 points from Welsh Baccalaureate – accepted as additional points in addition to the two A levels described above.
Scottish Qualifications Authority 112-128 points including grade C in a relevant subject at Advanced Higher Level (applied ICT; applied science; biology; chemistry; computing; DT (product design); DT (systems and control tech); DT (textiles tech); electronics; engineering; environmental science; maths/further maths; stats; physics; science; tech and design). Plus pass Higher level maths.
