Entry requirements

For entry to postgraduate level, you will normally need a 2:2 degree or above and evidence of a sustained engagement with fields such as photography, visual communication, film, journalism or environmental sciences, among others). The University also has substantial experience in supporting mature students and welcomes applicants in this category. Applicants with Accredited Prior Learning (APL) will be considered on an individual basis according to the University Regulations Framework. An upper second degree in a related discipline such as Illustration, Publishing or Graphic Design (or similar design-related discipline such as Art, Creative Writing, Digital Media, among others), or a lower second, combined with evidence of the potential to achieve at Level 7, through the presentation of a strong portfolio of creative work.
