The November talk organised by The Devonshire Association (Tavistock & West Devon Branch) will be given by Professor Ralph Fyfe , Associate Dean for Research at the University of Plymouth. 
Ralph studies how past societies influenced and shaped their surroundings, and applies this information to conservation and management of current and future environmental change. 
The talk starts at 19:30 and is open to all with an entry fee of £2 – £3.

The Devonshire Association was founded in 1862 and is now an educational charity dedicated to the study and exchange of information and ideas on all matters relating to the county of Devon in south-west England – in particular, the cultural identity of the county and its distinctiveness – through research, recording and publication.
