The Cube has organised a series of events to support students and graduates at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey – from an idea to a fully-fledged business. Monday 14 October (13:00–14:00) | Website Development/Digital Marketing for Business Expert Appointment | Virtual
A 30-minute virtual 1:1 consultation on how to grow your business online. The outcome of this discussion will be a clear plan of action on what changes are required to achieve your business goal. Elliot Forte is a digital marketing consultant and web developer. He is an experienced website builder using Shopify, WordPress and other technologies. He is an experienced business adviser in all aspects of enterprise.

Get advice on what business structure is best for you, what insurances do you need and what regulations apply to your business.

A 30 minute 1:1 consultation on all aspects of business start-up and development. A workshop session where you'll learn the basics of how to become a freelancer and how to grow your established freelance career. Get advice on what freelancing is, the benefits and challenges, who your customers are, how to set your pricing and legal/insurance requirements. Meet other freelancers and join a WhatsApp community.

A 30 minute 1:1 consultation to answer all your business start-up/development and financial management questions. Jay is a partner at TS Partners (Accountancy and Business Advice) with a wealth of experience in the business development sector, having co-founded a multi-million-pound business previously. Get advice on starting a new business or developing a business, becoming self-employed or freelancing, options and help to plan your business’s future, and business financial management and planning. The session covers financial record keeping, accountancy, tax, R & D tax credits and funding options, understanding and developing your cashflow, sales forecast, profit and loss account etc.
