The Cube team are available for drop-ins at our new Enterprise Hub, Room 003, on the Ground Floor of the Fitzroy Building, Monday – Thursday between 09:00–17:00 and Friday 09:00–16:00.

Thursday 3 April (13:00–14.00) | Business Experts-in-Residence Appointment – Marketing Expert 1:1 | Virtual
30 minute 1:1 consultation on branding or marketing. Join Laura Greenland, an experienced marketing and branding consultant. This session is perfect if you're tackling the branding or marketing strategy for your start-up business or if you're considering embarking on a freelance career. Get advice on marketing, branding and brand design, logo design, advertising, and identifying the marketing channels to reach your ideal customers. David Mozley is the University of Plymouth Intellectual Property Manager. He has all the information and guidance on all aspects of IP, including what the different types of protection are, what is protectable and what protection might you need. Appointment offer – a 30 minute consultation 1-2-1 to answer all your questions about IP/copyright/trademarks – how they work and which are right for you. Get advice on patents, design rights, trademarks and copyright.

Business Explore Club (19–23 May)
As part of Discovery Week, the Business Explore Club is a week of activity designed for students and graduates who want to gain the skills and knowledge to explore a business idea to see if it is viable with growth potential.
Get in the business mindset with our four day Boot Camp Programme where you will learn the basics of how to explore the viability of a new product or service idea ready to pitch for £1,000 in start-up funding at the end of the week.
This programme is open to those with a business idea and those who just want to get the know-how on how to start a business to further develop their creative skills and business acumen to maximise future career potential.
