Do you want to buy local food but don’t know where to find it? Look no further. A Tamar Valley Food Hub collection point is now available from near the Reservoir Cafe on Fridays at the University.
Tamar Valley Food Hubs is similar to a veg box scheme and online supermarket combined, based on a collection and home delivery service. It is designed to make buying local food easier for consumers. Go online to shop for local and sustainable products including seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, local cheese, other dairy, fish, meat and more!
University staff, students and the public are invited to visit www.tamarvalleyfoodhubs.org.uk and choose to pick up at the hub collection point outside near the Reservoir Cafe between 15:30–15:45 on Fridays. Don’t forget to place your order between 18:00 on Friday and 09:30 on Wednesday for collection on campus on Friday afternoon.
Please contact Tamar Valley for any queries: +44 1579 208412 or email sara@tamarvalleyfoodhubs.org.uk
Tamar Valley Food Hubs is a non-profit making social enterprise made up of small-scale food and drink producers and their customers. By using this service you can directly support small producers while benefiting your local community, reducing your food miles and supporting local farmers. Home delivery is also available.
