The Supergen ORE Hub will be hosting an Early Career Researchers (ECR) Forum on Monday 14 April as part of the Annual Assembly taking place on the following day.
The University of Plymouth leads the Supergen ORE Hub and works with co-directors from nine other UK universities to provide research leadership to connect academia, industry, policy and public stakeholders to drive innovation and advocate for viable wave, wind and tidal offshore energy. Supergen ORE Hub is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
The Supergen ORE Hub ECR Community aims to connect ECRs with more senior researchers, in the UK and internationally, to create a diverse and supportive community that nurtures the next generation of ORE research leaders. The Forum is a way for ECRs to come together and share their research and network with colleagues.
Join this in-person event at the University of Manchester to connect with the ECR community, participate in sessions providing professional development support and engage in industry-research panel discussions. The Forum will end with a drinks reception from 18:30–20:30.
The next day, the Annual Assembly will feature a full day of talks exploring cutting-edge research from across the offshore renewable energy sector. Please note that separate registration via Eventbrite is required to attend the Annual Assembly.
