Get ready, for some tunes! The University of Plymouth is thrilled to host this year’s South West Universities Concert Band Festival organised by the University of Plymouth Concert Band (UPCB).
Join UPCB to welcome concert bands from Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter and Plymouth for a day of incredible music, camaraderie and fun. With performances ranging from awe-inspiring wind band pieces to thrilling stage and screen themes, this is a celebration of music you won’t want to miss!

Programme

• 10:30 – Doors open
• 10:50 – Welcome introductions and judging panel
• 11:15–15:55 – Performances by university concert bands
• 16:00 – Mass band photo and judges' deliberations
• 16:30–17:00 – Awards ceremony
Following the awards ceremony, there'll be mingling until 18:30.
Prizes will be awarded for the following: Best Overall Band Performance • Most Captivating Piece Performed • Best Original Wind Band Piece • Best Student Conductor • Best Soloist • Best Introductory Joke or Anecdote
