Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women and non-binary scientists and the science they do.
The event aims to transform public areas into an arena for learning and scientific debate with the aim to encourage women and non-binary scientists, and also challenge perceptions of who a scientist is.
The University of Plymouth has participated in Soapbox Science for a number of years and we're delighted to return to the Royal William Yard for 2025. The event will coincide with the monthly Good Food & Craft Market which attracts some of the region’s top artisan makers as well as the region’s finest food and drink producers and vendors.
