On Monday 11th November the University will be holding a short ceremony to mark the two minute silence on Armistice Day and to remember those who were killed in both world wars and in other conflicts.
The remembrance ceremony starts at 10:50 and will end by 11:10 with a two minute silence to mark Armistice Day at 11:00. The ceremony will include the laying of wreaths.
The ceremony will be led by our Multi Faith Pastoral and Spiritual Care Coordinator Debbie Clement-Large , Volunteer Multi Faith Chaplain Arezoo Farahzad and Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Education and Student Experience Professor John Curnow . They will be joined by a representative attending on behalf of the Students' Union and the student body.
You are invited to join us in remembrance and to observe the two minute silence at the Portland Square Memorial.
