Devon Tipping
, PhD Education student, Doctoral Teaching Assistant and Illustrator, for a creative workshop to explore the intersection of queerness and climate engagement.
This event is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about how LGBTQ+ communities can contribute to a more sustainable future and those who want some space to be creative.
When you hear discussions of climate change, it is often negative, often about scientific ideas, and rarely from an LGBT+ standpoint. Devon wants to address this by giving you a space to think about how your LGBT+ identity alters (or not) how you engage with climate discussions, through illustration.
This workshop is a part of Devon's PhD research and, as such in order to take part, you need to give your consent to participate in the study alongside meeting all of the following criteria:
• Live in Plymouth
• Be over 18
• Identify as LGBT+.
If this is you, then Devon would love you to take part in one of the workshops in 2025! Please register attendance on Eventbrite using the links below.
