Plymouth Christmas Market brings all the festive sights, smells and atmosphere to the city centre, with the wonderful festive log cabins, festooned with Christmas lights, selling a wide range of unique gifts, crafts, clothing and festive treats. Perfect for those unique Christmas gifts and handcrafted decorations.
Enjoy a hot mulled wine or cider and some tempting sweet and savoury treats – from churros and crepes to Yorkshire pudding wraps and German swing grill, there’s plenty of choice for all tastes.
Take in the festive atmosphere, with daily entertainment on the Piazza from local schools and community choirs, to a mix of jazz, steel bands, favourite covers and Christmas tunes – all adding to the festive cheer.
Look out for the roaming stilt walkers interacting with the crowds every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Visit the Christmas Market on Sunday 8 December to enjoy the University of Plymouth Big Band performing as part of the daily entertainment programme between 11:00–12:00. The band will be playing everything from jazz, swing, funk, Latin, contemporary, and much more! Also in attendance is the University of Plymouth Student Choir who will be singing seasonal favourites on Thursday 12 December from 16:30–17:30.
Don’t forget to take a selfie at the illuminated giant bauble, and include the hashtag #ChristmasInPlymouth
Plymouth Christmas Market is open from 28 November to 15 December, Mondays to Saturdays (10:00–18:00) with late night shopping every Thursday until 19:00, and Sundays (10:00–17:00).
