Join CIBSE South West in Plymouth as we reflect on the journey of becoming a Chartered Engineer.
During the event, you will hear different perspectives on the Chartership process. Steve Macey CEng MCIBSE will draw on his experience as a CIBSE membership interviewer and provide insights into the Chartership process. He will be joined by five young engineers from a range of backgrounds who are all in the first ten years of their career and have recently become a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, network with like-minded people and find out more about becoming a Chartered Engineer. The event is open to all but will be of specific interest to architectural engineering students and members of CIBSE, the professional body.
Speaker: Steve Macey CEng MCIBSE
Steve has worked continuously for 37 years at Buro Happold since graduating from Bath University after a year in industry. Following various promotions through his career, he now holds the position of Director and works with a team of 70 MEP Engineers in Bath. Steve achieved CEng MCIBSE after six years and has been a CIBSE membership interviewer for the last 20 years.
He will be joined by five young engineers on the panel.
