At this knowledge sharing and engagement workshop, researchers from the University of Plymouth will share updates regarding their recent research into experiences of palliative and end of life (EoL) care in the South West Peninsula.
The day will include presentations, discussion and group activities. This event will explore:
• the challenges experienced by those both providing and receiving palliative and EoL care in different settings
• developing priorities for future research in this area
• person-centred EoL care in care homes
• rural and coastal inequalities.
This stakeholder event is for health and care professionals working in palliative and EoL care, and those living with and caring for people towards the end of their lives. It will be an opportunity for participants to help shape and support future research.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
