Established by the National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA), the theme for National Student Money Week 2025 is 'Survive and Thrive: building financial resilience.'
We know the thought of managing your money while at university can be a daunting one and something that can cause anxiety and worry. We want to help remove some of those barriers and make sure you have all the tools you need to survive and thrive during your time here.
That's why the University and UPSU will have a number of different activities and events taking place throughout the week, as well as having members of staff available for you to talk to. There's even a competition or two to take part in.
Over the course of this week, UPSU will be sharing information, advice and support available to you as well as activities taking place on our campus, including free SU Gym sessions and sports, our Veg Box Competition and a drop-in session with Shelter and Plymouth Energy Community! You can also find money support, including information on our SU Shop cost-of-living bay, community larder and free period products on the UPSU webpage.
Our Sharepoint site has event details and advice about money and physical wellbeing, money and mental wellbeing, understanding debt, and budgeting and planning.
