Plymouth Music invites aspiring and emerging musicians, singers, bands and songwriters to hear from, and meet, music industry experts and established artists.
Join established music artists and industry experts for tips and advice on how to make it in the music industry. Gain insights and network with experts and other aspiring artists all under one roof.
Panel sessions and talks will include:
  • The state of the industry for new artists. Taking your music to the next stage. Breakthrough artists tell us how they did it.
  • Advice from the Featured Artists Coalition, representing some of the UK’s biggest music acts.
  • How to make your music/demo stand out and get radio play. What gets airtime and what doesn’t.
  • Taking care of business – copyrighting work, MU, PRS and PPL. Streaming – a necessary evil? Do you need a manager? Who can you trust?
  • Developing as an artist – finding a way forward, getting you and your team on the same page, collaborating. Established artists talk about what went right and what went wrong.
There will be plenty of time to meet and talk to other artists and our industry experts.
