This workshop is for University of Plymouth staff only
Discover intermediate and advanced Moodle features to enhance your teaching. If you haven't used Moodle before, we recommend attending the 'Quick start to Moodle' workshop before this one.
Take control of your class digitally both on and off campus. Whatever you teach, this workshop will provide you with a supported, comfortable and enjoyable learning experience of Moodle. See what it's like to use Moodle from both a student and tutor perspective.
We'll take a closer look at Moodle activities, from collaborative tools all the way to eAssessment. We'll also discuss how and why these tools provide pedagogic benefit, and what each tool can and cannot achieve. Active participation is encouraged throughout; we welcome questions to ensure you are left confident in the functionality of each Moodle activity.
The main focus of this session is to inspire you to be creative, so we'll also be giving you time to test your new found knowledge on your own modules of choice, while supported by a small team of friendly Learning Technologists throughout.
