This joint Marine and Sustainable Earth Institutes event is an opportunity to bring together University of Plymouth researchers from across all disciplines to explore how the University is, and can further develop, catchment to coast research to tackle local and global challenges.
This event will:
- include external speakers delivering activity, for example Andy Bell, Chief Executive, North Devon Biosphere Foundation and Mark Wallace, Director, Beaford Arts
- highlight some research already underway across the University
- outline research funding opportunities and bring together researchers interested in taking interdisciplinary projects forward around decarbonisation, nature recovery and reconnection, and pollution
- develop a number of interdisciplinary project ideas that might be taken forward and developed into regional exemplars of national and international significance.
The workshop is open to all University of Plymouth researchers – any discipline or any stage of your career.
