    Learn about British culture and the differences you may encounter – this talk will be delivered by two of our international Student Ambassadors.
  • British academic culture: making sense of it, Levinsky Hall, Roland Levinsky Building (11:00)
    Student Learning and the English Language Centre will outline what academic writing looks like and where to find ongoing support to develop your academic and English skills and build study confidence. They will guide you through the academic system, from what lecturers expect of you and the importance of academic rules and regulations.
  • Careers Service talk, Levinsky Hall, Roland Levinsky Building (12:00)
    An introduction to the University's Careers Service and how the team can support you; from looking for part-time work to fit around your studies, developing your CV, gaining work experience to finding a career mentor.
  • Plymouth Global welcome to exchange students, Levinsky Hall, Roland Levinsky Building (13:00)
    A warm welcome to our exchange students! Meet other students and staff from Plymouth Global.
