What is the ‘International Student Lounge’?

The International Student Lounge is a relaxed space in the SU where, on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month, you can hang out and meet new people. You can chat with other international students and meet our friendly International Student Experience team, who will be on hand to listen to your feedback and answer any questions you might have.

What can I expect from the International Student Lounge?

The first International Student Lounge in April will be a chance for international students (you!) to share ideas with the team about what you would like from the lounge going forwards: simply a space to chill out and relax, activities, themed discussions, feedback forums – we want to be led by you!
There will be board games, the occasional craft activity, and refreshments will be provided (you are also welcome to bring your own lunch/snacks). In the future, we might run themed sessions, for example, ‘wellbeing’, ‘careers’, or ‘student safety’, where guests will be invited along to share their knowledge and listen to your experiences as a University of Plymouth student.
