Lots to look forward to at November's International Dinner – a month often associated with 'Thanksgiving'.
Despite life's ups and downs, your continued support and presence every month truly means the world ... and represents the world! Thank you for helping to create such memorable evenings and wonderful energy in Plymouth.
Come along once more and help us celebrate an evening with delicious food, feasting, friendships and culture. This month we also get to enjoy the musical talents of Mark Fitzsimons and his foot-tapping violin jigs.
Join us with your own contribution of colourful and delicious dishes, home comfort foods and traditional family recipes. Help us learn about your cultural food and cuisine and add your unique personal magic to the evening.
If you prefer not to cook, then buy a contribution and bring it along! A donation box will also be available for those who may wish to make a financial donation towards future International Dinners (50% of the proceeds will be donated to Sherwell Church).

Global Plymouth Meetup Group

Global Plymouth Meetup Group was formed by a group of University of Plymouth students and staff, many of international origin, in October 2021. The organisation is dedicated to forming sustainable social bonds between the residents of Plymouth and surrounding areas and our own students and staff, with the twin aims of reducing social isolation and proactively battling hate crime. The group has over 1,500 members, many of whom are University staff and students. The group has held over 200 events which have helped unify our community into a welcoming, caring family.

Event photography and video

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth's public events (both online and offline) may be attended by University staff, photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, brochures or leaflets. If you, or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please let a member of staff know.
