The University of Plymouth's Health Data Science Research Group, supported by the Plymouth Institute of Health and Care Research, has organised this workshop to share expertise and facilitate collaboration across disciplines with the ultimate aim of realising patient and public benefit.
The workshop will feature:
  • an introductory session outlining the value and potential application of health data science
  • talks from academics and PhD students with research expertise in this area
  • presentations from key stakeholders in the NHS and private sector on utilising health data
  • a networking lunch to identify opportunities to develop new collaborations.
The event is open to academic and research staff from across the University of Plymouth, postgraduate research students and support staff as well as healthcare practitioners and other staff in key stakeholder organisations including the NHS, local authorities and health organisations in the private and VCSE sectors.
