The Peninsula Medical Foundation (PMF) is an independent charity raising money for the University of Plymouth's Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. PMF aims to improve health in Plymouth and the South West peninsula by supporting medical research and health-related education in conjunction with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and the University of Plymouth.
The PMF was founded in the 1999 to support medical research, innovation and education across Devon and Cornwall. The Foundation works with individuals, communities, businesses, trusts and foundations, all of whom shares its vision to help improve the healthcare and quality of life for people across the region and beyond.
"The future of the NHS lies – not with politicians – but in the hands of skilled and dedicated medical staff who have received the very highest quality training and support. That is exactly what they get at the Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. By supporting the PMF you can help to ensure that it continues to be an outstanding provider of medical excellence." The PMF is thrilled to invite you to the Grand Gala Autumn Ball, dinner and charity auction at the fabulous Eden Project. The event is hosted by the PMF in aid of local brain tumour research.
