Students wanting to improve their wellbeing are invited to monthly drop-in sessions in the SU to discover the wealth of useful resources, information, strategies and advice that are available to support them.
Come along if you need support for: 
  • Stress, anxiety or low mood. Although these feelings are not uncommon, if they persist and are affecting your life, academic engagement or university experience, there are things you can try to help you feel emotionally and mentally better.
  • Transition to university. This is an exciting time but can also be daunting. Missing home, making new friends and learning to share your living space with others can feel stressful or overwhelming. Find out what you can do to feel better. 
  • Self-care. Find out how you can look after yourself physically to improve your mental wellbeing. 
Come and meet lots of different organisations to help support your wellbeing. Free activities and goodies will be available.

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth's public events (both online and offline) may be attended by University staff, photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, brochures or leaflets. If you, or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please let a member of staff know.
