Energy transition represents a significant opportunity for the South West to create environmentally focused, well-paid and long-term jobs but it will take a 'systems thinking' approach.
In conjunction with the University of Plymouth, the South West Business Council will deliver a conference covering the decarbonisation agenda at the University.
The conference will seek to explore the importance of 'systems thinking' when it comes to decarbonisation and how we create the talent pipeline to meet skills requirements needed. There will also be options to explore some of the University's key laboratories including the Coastal, Ocean and Sediment Transport (COAST) laboratory's wave tank facility.
