What is a climate cafe?
A climate cafe is a community-organised space for people to have open conversations about the climate crisis (including how it makes us feel). No two climate cafes look the same, yet they should all feel safe, open and accessible.
What can I expect from this climate cafe?
This climate cafe will be based on the theme of 'envisioning a greener future' where will discuss any thoughts and feelings around the subject, get creative with a collaging activity, and experience a guided visualisation. The discussions will include prompts such as 'What concerns do you have about the climate crisis affecting our future?' or 'What does a world beyond these issues look like to you?'. Additionally, you are welcome to contribute to the discussion or just listen to other people's thoughts and feelings.
All are welcome at this free event. Come along for tea and biscuits and join the conversation. The session will run from 13:00–14:00 but you're welcome to arrive early to settle in and chat to people!
