Join Community in Print for a peaceful afternoon of meditative sketching surrounded by the beauty of Central Park in springtime. Whether you're looking to explore a new way of connecting with nature or try something new, everyone is welcome, no artistic experience needed!
This free workshop invites you to slow down, observe and sketch the world around you, using the park’s blooming landscapes as inspiration. Through gentle guidance, we’ll explore mindful drawing techniques that encourage relaxation, artistic expression and a deep connection to the environment.
The workshop is suitable for adults and children of all ages, although children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent or legal guardian).
There will be a follow-up workshop where sketches from the first session will be used to create nature-inspired sculptures. These will then be displayed as part of a Blossoms exhibition taking place at the National Trust properties of Cotehele, Antony and Saltram.
Visit the relevant Eventbrite page below for full details and to register attendance.
The workshops are kindly funded and supported by the National Trust, Green Communities and Plymouth City Council. Email communityinprint@outlook.com for further information.
