Architecture students

I was always really taken by art and the sciences at school. I recognised that the field of architecture perfectly epitomised my childhood attraction to buildings, and the symbiotic relationship between art and science was at its core.

BA (Hons) Architecture is providing Freya with the framework to realise her dream of becoming a professional architect.

Before studying at Plymouth, I thought about architecture in terms of its aesthetic and how it fitted into its context – how it sat there merely as an object. Studying at the University has helped me to see that buildings have broader social and economic impacts that go far beyond their immediate context.
